The considerations are configuration and control: caching rules must suit dynamic content (you do not want to serve stale personalised pages), security rules must not block legitimate users or crawlers, and DNS is now routed through Cloudflare. Used sensibly it is close to free performance and security; used carelessly (over-aggressive caching, mis-scoped firewall rules) it can serve stale content or block access, so the setup deserves care.
