About This Service

How We Deliver
Foundation & Entity Links

Forums, Q&A sites, developer communities, open-source repositories, cloud marketplace listings, social and professional profiles, published documents and podcast appearances. Most of these links are nofollow and none of them will outrank a competitor by itself. Their job is different and, in an AI-answer world, increasingly load-bearing: a model that cannot work out which company you are will not risk naming you. This layer makes the entity unambiguous and consistently described everywhere it appears — which is the precondition for everything else.

Pain Points

Why most teams stall before they see results

The patterns we see across new audits — and the fixes baked into every engagement.

Nothing outside your own site says what you do

Every claim about the company lives on the domain making the claim. There is no second source for a machine to check it against.

Profiles created once and abandoned

A half-finished account from three years ago, an old logo, a URL that redirects twice. Stale profiles are worse than none — they contradict the current ones.

Posts written for the link get deleted

Drive-by community answers are removed by moderators, and often the account with them. What survives moderation is participation that was useful first.

The entity says three different things

Different descriptions, different categories, different founding dates across the platforms that get scraped. The graph inherits every inconsistency.

Our Process

How we ship Foundation & Entity Links

A proven 4-step framework that compresses time to results without cutting corners.

01

Link Gap and Authority Audit

A senior analyst benchmarks your backlink profile against the three competitors who outrank you and flags any toxic links dragging you down. You leave knowing exactly how many quality links you need to close the gap.

02

Prospecting and Story Angles

We build a vetted target list of relevant publications and craft data-led story angles your vertical actually cares about. Every prospect is scored on real traffic and topical relevance, never on inflated domain metrics alone.

03

Outreach and Placement

Our team runs personalized outreach, HARO responses, and digital PR pitches, then secures placements on editorially reviewed sites. We never buy links from networks or use private blog farms.

04

Verify and Report

Every live link is screenshotted, verified for follow status, and logged on your dashboard with its referring traffic and authority. A weekly Loom shows new placements and the ranking movement they drive.

01The surfaces that get scraped, and what belongs on each
Where a machine looks

The surfaces that get scraped, and what belongs on each

Developer communities, Q&A sites, open-source repositories, professional and social profiles, published documents, slide decks and podcast appearances — these are the sources that get crawled, aggregated and fed into the datasets behind knowledge panels and model training. We work out which of them are plausible for your business rather than submitting to all of them, because a profile on a platform your industry has never used corroborates nothing.

  • Open-source, forum and Q&A presence where it is credible
  • Professional and social profiles brought up to date
  • Published documents and decks that stay citable
  • Podcast and interview appearances captured properly
02A useful answer keeps its link; a drive-by loses the account
Participation that survives

A useful answer keeps its link; a drive-by loses the account

Community platforms are moderated by people who have seen every version of this. An answer that is genuinely the best one in the thread keeps its link for years; a paragraph wrapped around a URL is removed, and repeat offenders lose the profile. So the work is answering things your team actually knows, in the places your buyers already read, at a pace a real person would. That is slower than a submission run and it is the only version of this that lasts.

  • Answers written by someone who knows the subject
  • Platform rules read before anything is posted
  • A human cadence, not a submission run
  • Nothing posted that we would not post under our own name
03One description, one name, one URL — everywhere
Consistency is the deliverable

One description, one name, one URL — everywhere

The value here is not the individual link, it is agreement between sources. Same legal and trading name, same one-sentence description, same canonical URL, same category language, on every surface that carries them. We audit what already exists before adding anything, because the old profile contradicting the new one is the problem we were hired to remove.

  • Audit of every existing profile before new ones are made
  • One canonical description reused verbatim
  • Contradictory and abandoned profiles corrected or closed
  • A record of every surface, handed over at the end

FAQs

Questions buyers ask before signing

Quick answers to the things buyers always check first.

Is this not just directory spam under a new name?
It would be if it were a submission run. The difference is selection and conduct: platforms your industry actually uses, profiles completed properly, and participation that a moderator would keep. If a surface only exists to host links, we do not use it.
Most of these links are nofollow. Why pay for them?
Because their job is corroboration rather than authority. A model or a crawler trying to establish which company you are needs sources that agree with each other, and that agreement is what makes a knowledge panel or an AI citation possible at all.
How is this different from local citations?
Citations are about a physical address and the map pack — name, address, phone, identical everywhere. Foundation work is about the entity itself: what the company is, what it makes, who runs it, and whether the sources agree. A business with no service area needs the second and not the first.
What does this look like month to month?
An audit and a cleanup first, then a steady, unhurried cadence of new surfaces and real participation. It is the least dramatic thing we sell and it is the one that quietly decides whether anything else about you is verifiable.
